Welcome to The Circle Players website.
The Circle Players is a long standing, non-professional drama group, established in 1934 in Kingstanding, Birmingham - read more about our history on the "About" page, and see pictures of previous productions on the "Gallery" page.
We perform 3 plays a year at Aldridge Youth Theatre, usually in February, June and October, with rehearsals taking place at Great Barr Library on Tuesdays at 8pm. We are always ready to welcome prospective new members to our friendly and informal group, whether to appear on stage or help out behind the scenes and Front of House. We have a strong team ethos and everyone's willingness to "muck-in" is probably what's helped us to survive for so long!

After 2 years away due to Covid, The Circle Players were delighted to bring Dad's Army to Aldridge in February 2022. A lot of hard work but great fun to do - thank you so much to all of our supporters for coming along and making it a great success - it's so good to be back!

All the drama, anxiety, and even terror included in the script is impressively delivered by the cast of four, creating genuine edge-of-the-seat tension for the audience

This Alan Ayckbourn play was well directed and even though the set was minimal it really worked. The scene changes were done at a fast pace which kept the action going.
